Workshop Introduction:
Home carries different meanings for each of us. It can be a person, a house, a mountain, a river, a tree, a storm, a childhood memory, or a place filled with mixed emotions and belonging. In this workshop, we will use sound and imageas mediums to explore personal stories and perceptions of home.

Through listening, recording, and creating, we will search for new ways to narrate our stories—learning not only to tell, but also to listen to the voices and memories of others. In the echoes and images shared by others, do we find reflections or shadows of our own? How might the land, with all its living beings, describe their own sense of home?

Participants will bring their own sounds, photographs, and memories as the foundation for collective creation. Through visual reconstruction and simple sound editing, we will imagine and express our connections to home, to one another, and to the land we share.

Notes:

  • Please bring wired earphones (3.5mm audio jack).
  • Bring 4–5 photographs related to “home” (for example: the road home, a tree, your neighborhood, your own portrait, or family photos).

  • Participants must arrive at the venue independently. No meals are provided; you may leave during lunch break to purchase food nearby and should bring your own water.
